<description>Gnomefiles.org is one of my favorite places to search for interesting applications; they have a good assortment. There may be ebuilds for these available via Google or project pages, if they&#039;re not in Portage. If there aren&#039;t any, most of &#039;em make for easy ebuild writing, as they&#039;re just gtk+ and/or python, usually, and those are cross-platform.

Linux.com recent review of three taskmanagers: http://www.linux.com/feature/150671

Gchore: http://www.gnomefiles.org/app.php/gchore

Swat: http://www.gnomefiles.org/app.php/Swat (Ruby-gtk+)
Odot: http://www.gnomefiles.org/app.php/Odot
Glista: http://www.gnomefiles.org/app.php/Glista
Zim: http://www.gnomefiles.org/app.php/Zim (Available in Portage; I use this. It&#039;s pretty neat.)
WikidPad: http://www.gnomefiles.org/app.php/WikidPad
Task Coach: http://www.gnomefiles.org/app.php/Task_Coach (wxWidgets, definitely crossplatform)
Nota: http://www.gnomefiles.org/app.php/Nota
Gtodo: http://www.gnomefiles.org/app.php/Gtodo

Hope these are a good start!</description>
